The breakfast staff were really friendly.
The breakfast itself was a good mix for whatever you fancied
Location - couldn't have been better
The room was so unbearable with the heat ( even with a fan ) I left a night early because I didn't want another uncomfortable sleepless night.
When leaving a day early I handed my key in and was in the process of explaining to óthe member of staff, when they just turned away saying thank you whilst I was trying to put my point across and she just looked down

Very clean, beautiful location, far from civilisation, very kind staff.
Dated pool facilities, food only available at certain times and no shops/cafes/restaurants for several miles. No usb-c charging sockets in rooms. Getting around on Sundays is problematic.

Location
⭐ 1/5 – Very disappointing second stay
I have stayed at Kent’s Hill Hotel before for work, and my first visit was absolutely fine, which is why I booked again. Unfortunately, my second stay was a complete disappointment.
When making my booking, I selected that I was travelling for work, not leisure. Despite this, I was given a room surrounded by very noisy guests who were drinking, shouting, and making noise throughout the night. As a business guest with an important meeting the next morning, I expected a quieter room.
The room itself was also in poor condition:
* The window only had one handle and could only open slightly.
* There was no air conditioning, making the room uncomfortable.
* The blinds were broken and could not be adjusted.
* The carpet was dirty and looked very worn.
* The toilet seat was stained and in poor condition.
* The shower was dripping continuously and made noise.
* Door handles were loose, with screws coming out.
Because of the noise and the condition of the room, I was unable to sleep all night. I had an important work meeting the following day and was so exhausted that people at the meeting thought I was unwell.
It is disappointing because my first stay at this hotel was excellent, but this second experience was a nightmare. I hope the hotel addresses the maintenance issues and considers placing business travellers in quieter areas of the hotel.

The bathroom was nice and the selection of teabags was very good. Soundproofing was very good. I liked being on the ground floor.
It's helpful that we can open the windows.
The pillows wee two thin ones and one larger lumpy one. They weren't conducive to a good night's sleep. One of my travelling companions told me he brings his own pillows when staying at Kents Hill.
It would be so great if you could put a small fridge in the rooms; then people could bring their own milk to have in their drinks and keep bottled water cool.
Also, my room was only cleaned once during a three night stay; I had to request another towel.

we did not stay after arriving anf seeing that my autistic son couldn’t use the pool, which was main reason for chosing this, also the room didn’t smell fresh a bad smell and wasn’t clean. we left and my son was very very upset, i had to find another hotel with booking.com.

This hotel is great apart from the fact house keeping think its ok to come into your room whilst sleeping or they are banging on your door at 9.45 asking you to leave if you like a laying this is not the hotel for you I want a full refund

Really nice and comfortable
Too big! We had a floor dedicated to us for the convention and our rooms were on the other side of the hotel. Think it took 1000 steps to get from my room to my car. Not a bad thing mind you
