Very Poor
The exit from the carpark.
Bin filled with empty cider cans.
No power lead to the TV.
Tea and coffee sachets in room not topped up.
The ten minute hunt for the light switches which for some bizarre reason were hidden by the pillow.
The trek from reception, through a laundry area and up an escalator. Being state pensioners didn't expect an orienteering without maps or compass to our room.
The sullen receptionist.
Giving up and heading home given the final straw of dinner sat at canteen tables. They may be a great conference centre. A hotel they ain't.

Wonderful
We chose this as a stopover on our way to somewhere else and found the rooms very clean and the facilities superb. Breakfast was also superb and staff very friendly. This was a real find and would definitely book into there again.
Was huge and could easily get a little lost

Very Good
Excellent value for money. Room were clean, breakfast was good and the use of the pool was an added bonus.
The staff could have been a bit friendlier. There were signs of wear and tear in the bathroom (rusty plug hole). The walls are thin. You could hear things from the next room and also when people walked along the corridor it was quite noisy.

Poor
Booked for a scrapbooking weekend, everything need was close to hand
The food, why serve mainly Halal food to non muslin people , seems not to cater for each group just one group.

Good
Friendly, helpful staff throughout but a special mention to the wonderful Housekeeping staff who went above and beyond for us. Comfortable bed. Free parking and WiFi. Extremely clean and bright white towels and bed linen. Quality ingredients in the restaurant and bedroom refreshments. Being allocated, after requesting, a room situated near the restaurant and reception due to poor mobility. Free use of the onsite health facilities. Good sized room (superior double) with really large windowsills ideal for putting our belongings on.
Although tastefully decorated the rooms and furnishings are looking quite tired. Frayed curtains and bent venetian blinds allowing light in at night time. Toilet not flushing properly, washbasin very slow to drain and old yellowing sealant in bathroom

Pleasant
Stayed here as an alternative to Travelodge. It has plenty green spaces and parking spots, so very convenient if you'll be working in the area. Location wasn't bad if you're working nearby. Rooms were big enough and the bed felt comfortable
Facilities are a bit old. Internet isn't too fast. Breakfast wasn't the best either. My room wasn't the best either. Stayed in LG01. Sounds like a good place to put a room but if you want to stay in bed for a while, that won't happen as the room is located near/in front of all services: Laundry, ironing, cleaning so you get loads of noise and people working from early morning.

Very Good
Location excellent , breakfast fantastic
Had to change from original room L108 as key /lock not working. Also Unfortunately no draught beers , lager, cider or Guinness were available as there was a problem with all of these not sure what the fault was .
And wine was pricey at £8 for a small red Merlot .
